... a little slow, a little late.

Two years ago, I visited my sister for her graduate show:

Her campus was pretty rad

...as was her studio.

Also awesome, the side trip to DC.

Where (obviously) there are tons of museums

And many pretty lines...

^only, this one had much better exhibits.

...and I'm hoping that someone got the title.

NYC

I missed your sunny skies

and your snarky remarks

I wish Seattle had your architecture

and claustrophobic streets

The weekend was for my cousin's wedding, however, the star of the family seemed to be my nephew:

The big night!

and let's not forget the museums!

^Architecture > their collection + exhibitions...

A much better museum!

PDX

The land of locally sourced organic airplanes...

After four years in the PNW, I finally made it to Portland, and quickly left. The reason:

Actually, a college friend was in McMinnville for work, and a mini RIT reunion (in Portland) was organized the night before. We congregated at a big book store, drank some coffee, ate at a food truck, stumbled into a farmer's market, drank some beer, and found a donut shop:

Went to the museum the next day, which contains the coolest water slide I've seen:

Hughes H-4 Hercules:

Leg room has always been crappy, so stop complaining.

Not a NACA airfoil

Not the real OV-101...

The Mercury 7, cropped as usual...

Capsule 10

P&W J58

Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird

McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II

P&W F100

Dear F-14, I miss you...

Oh, and Portland is a bit overrated :-P
